If you want to fly further than your glide ratio you will need an overland license.

Requirements to attend this course is:
- a pilot license
- at least 20 confirmed altitude flights in 2 different area’s
- at least 10 flights from at least 30 minutes.
The course contains lessons about:
navigating, terrain knowledge, weather and rules and regulations. You will need to make an exam flight from at least 10 kilometers (for paragliders) or 20 kilometers (for hanggliders).
The overland license allows you to make long distance flights.
